Dryland Pasture Seed Mix

Dryland Pasture Mix is designed for farm, ranch and rangeland where no irrigation is present. It will grow on annual precipitation in most areas of the Great Basin and will survive on a minimum of 10" annual rainfall. If some sprinkler or flood irrigation is present, yield will be higher.

This mix is very effective for disturbed sites or restoration. It can be used as pasture for grazing and cut for hay when yield is sufficient.

Seeding Rate:
16 lbs./acre drilled (1/4" maximum depth) 20 lbs./acre broadcast (+/- .5 lbs. per 1,000 sq.ft.)

  • Smoothe Brome Grass
  • Russian Wild Rye
  • Dryland Alfalfa
