They work extremely well as pasture for horses, goats, alpacas, llamas or cattle. We also build mixes for poultry and bird cover, and do our part in providing support for the at risk Sage Grouse. Our Dryland Pasture Mix contains the following species:
This Dryland Pasture Seed Mix is designed for farm, ranch and range where no irrigation is present. It is an excellent dual-purpose product adapted to a wide range of dryland ecosystems. It is efficient and multi-purpose.
Our Irrigated Pasture Mix contains the following species:
- Mid-Maturing Forage Orchardgrass
- Late-Maturing Forage Orchardgrass
- Tall Fescue, Forage Type
- Perennial Ryegrass
- Meadow Bromegrass
Irrigated Pasture Mix is planted as a stand alone crop for pasture or hay or in pivot corners or isolated sections that need coverage and forage yield. Among other uses, it is very effective at driving out weeds. Our Irrigated Pasture Seed Mix performs best under sprinkler irrigation, but it can be flood irrigated once the seedlings have matured.
