2021 Photo Contest Winners

The photos are in and the judges have decided!

We are pleased to announce our 2021 customer submitted photo contest winners!

In 2021 Great Basin Seed hosted a photo contest from May to November 1. The response was awesome and the submission were inspiring. Customers submitted photos of our products, landscapes and farm and ranches across the nation. It was a fun and exciting process to see the world through the eye of our customers. You can see the winning submissions below.

The winner of our Product Photo category is Sarah from Colorado. Of her photo she says “The southwest wildflower mix is suited for my dry rocky sagebrush terrain, even at 10,000 feet in Colorado. The African Daisy Flowers in the mix really stood out against the landscape.” In addition to the winning photo, Sarah sent us a bunch of fun photo collages. She has a beautiful piece of property and the wildflower mixes are a beautiful complement to a great piece of real estate!

The winner of our Farm and Ranch category is John from California. John sent us a collection of stunning photos from across the nation and it was tough to pick the best one, but we finally settled on this beautiful shot of a haystack. Don from Washington state is the winter of our Landscape category. He submitted a beautiful photo of the Nisqually glacier face of Mt. Rainier in Mt. Rainier National Park. His photo is a reminder that despite the drought, there were still mountains with snow on them, and beautiful running streams.
