Our Mountain Pass Grass Mixture is ideally suited to high elevation sites of the western united states above 8,000′.  This grass mix provides deep green grasses suited to the mountain meadows, passes and valleys of the western landscape. The species in this mix are drought resistant species, deep rooted and cool seasoned for maximum forage production. Mountain grasses typically have good resistance to overgrazing because of constant exposure to pressures of wildlife and domestic livestock use. The species are tough, beautiful and hardy.

Mountain Pass Grass Mixture consists of:

  • Smooth Bromegrass
  • Crested Wheatgrass
  • Slender Wheatgrass
  • Intermediate Wheatgrass
  • Russian Wildrye
