The Steppe Restoration mix was created to help restore land in the Oregon rang land areas. Bringing more varieties to help with erosion control, soil health and providing grazing varieties for your animals, with option to add a wildflower mix to the mix. The Steppe Restoration mix is drought tolerant, and has varieties that will survive in many soil types.
Steppe Restoration General Description:
The Steppe restoration was created when it was brought to our attention that Oregon has lots of land in need of species to help with land cover, erosion control, and provide a low maintenance pasture mix for those with animals to feed. Times have changed and much of what use to be open prairie lands have been either overgrazed, or have been disturbed with new development. With this being said this mix was created with these needs in mind. Not everyone’s land is the same, this mix contains varieties that will survive in many different soil types. The Restoration mix provides varieties that are safe for livestock and wildlife to graze on but also add some color to your property!
This mix is very broad, if you would like to taper a mix specifically for your property we can alter this mix anyway to fit your needs and wants.
