Lavina (MT981397) is a two-rowed hooded spring barley and is a cross between Haybet and Baronesse. It was bred to replace Haybet and to enhance seed production while maintaining and enhancing forage production.
Lavina ‘MT981397’ was tested for forage and grain performance in Montana from 2004 through 2007.
